Please come along to the joint union rally, with Unison, on Wednesday 24th April, 12-1.30pm, at Hallam Square (outside Owen Building).
The rally is to raise awareness about our local dispute and ballot in the face of redundancies and the increasing attacks on our teaching standards and working conditions.
- No to compulsory redundancies
- No to changes around redeployment, pay protection and sickness absence
- No to line management responsibilities for Grade 8 and introduction of Grade 6
- No to further degradation of teaching standards due to loss of staff, new teaching delivery models & ongoing curriculum redesign
We’ve ordered good weather, so spread the word and encourage your colleagues, students, and comrades in the wider labour movement in Sheffield to come along. Everyone is welcome! Bring flags, banners, children and dogs. And your lunch.
