We received the results of our e-ballot yesterday on the offer made to the branch by UEB regarding our current dispute.
RESULTS:

67% Voted to reject the offer
33% Voted to accept the offer
- Indicative questions – Is the offer on each of the following issues acceptable?
Guarantee on compulsory redundances including staff linked to the International Pathway College – Yes 59.9 %; No 40.1 %
Associate Lecturer contracts – Yes 16.9 %; No 83.1 %
Researcher regrading and promotion – Yes 19.8 %; No 80.2 %
The result means that our dispute is still live. ASOS is still in place and we still have an active strike mandate. We will be holding further discussions with members in the New Year to consider our next steps toward negotiating a better offer for Associate Lecturers and Researchers.
