Peat moors have become increasingly important parts of climate politics in the UK as we have moved to ‘net zero’, but those moors have a long political history of disputes over land ownership, elite power and public access to open spaces. This talk from University of Manchester Professor Matthew explores the role of peat moors in solving the climate crisis.
